      JoAnn Hackos I think it's an Anna's Hummingbird. I saw one in Soda Creek last month. Typically farther west -- California common.

      Linda Martin I think this one is a Swainson's Hawk - adult dark morph. Just because the coloring looks right to me, and they're around this time of year before they migrate.
