  • Our annual Raptor Field Trips are very popular. As in past years, we will have four trips - two on two separate weekends. Space is limited to 12 people each day, so please sign up soon so that you don't miss out! These trips last until early afternoon, so bring a lunch, water, warm clothing, and binoculars.     Montrose Area Raptor Run, Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, 16, 9:00 a.m.: Join Bruce Ackerman and Bill Harris as they search the Montrose area for winter raptors, including Eagles, Falcons, and Ferruginous and Rough-legged Hawks. Meet at the northeast corner of the Gold's Gym parking lot (the corner of Hillcrest Dr. and Highway 50) at 9:00 a.m. to get started and carpool. Trip should conclude in early afternoon.
