    Trail Difficulty: Moderate
    Maximum Participants: 10
Directions: Meet at the south end of South Platte Park near C-470. From C-470 take the Platte Canyon Rd/South Platte
Park exit. From Platte Canyon Rd at Depew Street turn southeast onto the entrance road for South Platte Park. Continue
past a 90-degree left turn and the first parking lot, and meet in the second parking lot.
We will check South Platte Reservoir for interesting waterbirds, and explore the river corridor of the
southern area of South Platte Park, and maybe other spots in the park. This should be a great opportunity to
study ducks, and a dipper has been around in recent winters. Be ready to walk on snowy paths for a few miles.
We may drive to another nearby location to end the trip. Dress for weather. Bring snacks and water. Register
    online or contact the leader.
